What is HER?

SHER USA is the North American arm of HER Global Network: a community that connects conscious, driven and impactful women in 19 global cities on a local scale. Every HER event will uphold our three pillars for each woman-identified: the power to be vulnerable, unfiltered, and connected (both to yourself and others).

Why HER?

HER is reimagining what networking means today. In a world where everything is available at our fingertips, humans are more disconnected from each other than ever before. HER exists to foster authentic connections and does so through facilitated events and experiences. HER facilitators creates safe and trusted spaces for members to remove their filters and connect authentically through embracing their vulnerabilities. Through these types of real, unfiltered experiences, women don’t just network, they connect as humans and as a result become advocates for each other’s personal and professional success moving forward.

What type of events do you host?

Dinners

HER dinners are the core of this community. We facilitate Jeffersonian-style dinners where each woman’s ‘ask’ drives the conversation and fosters personal and professional growth.

Panels, Breakfasts, Wellness Events, & our Annual Gala

From egg-freezing to cryptocurrency, we bring relevant topics to the women of HER and find the experts in those fields to educate the community.

“Yoga and an Ask” is our breakfast model where wellness meets professional asks. Hosted on weekend mornings and aimed at helping founders and executive HERs discuss professional asks in an intimate, confidential setting.  

Wellness events are partnered with studios in NYC, giving HERs private access to some of NYC’s most sought after fitness experiences, always presented with a dose of connection.

It’s not a party without HER: our annual Gala brings 200 of our members together for one, unforgettable celebratory evening.

Can only women donate?

Absolutely not! We welcome support from anyone who believes in our work and mission.  Women-identified can become members, but we also allow memberships to be gifted to a women-identified friend, partner, or coworker.  We also have an option to make a general donation for anyone who wants to support HER and the women behind it.

When will we receive our rewards/when will our membership activate?

Your membership will activate September 1, 2019.

What will you be doing with the funds?

Since 2016,  HER has been operating on volunteer time and favors from friends. We have come to a point where HER demands more time and resources to best serve the existing community.  Our promise to the community is to build a foundation that is sustainable for the long run.

To ensure the most connected member experience, the funds collected will be used for full-time hires to better serve the community and member needs, by ensuring members get access to the right types of events, at a consistent frequency and connected to the right people within the community. This fundraiser will allow us to do more of what we have been doing but in a more consistent and organized fashion.

Are you a non-profit?

We are currently a B-Corp and are working to file a 501c-3 non-profit status.

Where is HER USA?

The HER Global Network has a presence in 19 cities worldwide. In the US we have chapters in New York, LA, San Francisco, and Miami.

How do I connect with other members?

HERs connect virtually through our private digital community group to engage with other HERs, share job opportunities, ask for help and share recommendations on a multitude of topics.  Groups are also connected to each other after each curated event.

What do I get with my membership?

How long is my membership active?

Memberships are active for one year (365 days), starting September 1 2019.

Can I upgrade into the next tier?

Absolutely. If you’d like to upgrade to the next tier please contact [email protected]

Do I have to purchase tickets to events?

Every event is a ticketed event with prices averaging between $30-75. Ticket prices are generally not included within the memberships unless specified so within your membership tier. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions about which events are covered versus not within your desired tier.

Do you allow refunds for event ticket purchases?

Once your event ticket is purchased we do not allow refunds.

Will I get invited to every event?

Our events are highly curated and we tailor our guest list based on the individual interests of our members. Once your membership is activated, we welcome your feedback on the topics and events you’re most interested in. Please refer to our membership tiers to see what type of event invites you will get and how many.

Will I get access to events in other cities?

HER will focus on expansion in the USA in 2020. If you are moving to a city where HER operates, we will transfer your name to that city’s membership list.
