G{Code} Full Stack
Where Tech Education and Affordable Housing Stack Up for Equity and Excellence
Project Description
Our mission is to bridge the disparity in technology opportunities among Black, Brown, and Indigenous women and nonbinary individuals of color in Greater Boston. We aim to achieve this by providing a supportive environment that combines tech education with affordable housing, ultimately transforming lives and communities.
We are seeking support for our G{Code} Full Stack Campaign which represents our effort to provide a comprehensive solution. This campaign will help us renovate two pieces of underutilized property in Dorchester, a neighborhood of Boston, into a state-of-the-art tech center that will serve as both housing and a training facility for up to 14 individuals.
We are honored to have received a construction grant from the Healey-Driscoll Administration in the amount of $750,000.00 to support and assist with the redevelopment of the properties. Our campaign objective is to match these funds and secure the additional funding required for the renovation of both the main house and the carriage house. These resources will be instrumental in our mission to create a nurturing and inclusive housing space for Black, Brown, and Indigenous women and non-binary individuals.
