There is so much wasted space in today's refrigerators. People are more aware of the problem of food waste than ever before, but they don't have an affordable, simple way to prevent it.
The options for storing and freezing foods are basically zip lock bags, or food sealer vacuum machines. Both of the options present even more problems. When you up a zip lock bag with chili, or stew or soup and tossing it into the freezer you end up with all kinds of inefficient shapes and sizes of blocks of frozen food.
So your freezer begins to look more like a dumpster than a place to store delicious and nutritious food.
A vacuum sealer system require specialized bags, takes up counter space and costs even MORE money.

About FreezeStax
FreezeStax is ours exclusively with patented technology. It's been in development for a couple of years. We have produced and tested a prototype and we are ready for mass production. We've been approached by various Angel investors and even QVC but we decided to launch on ifundwomen! This household product is a breakthrough in food storage. FreezeStax was founded and is run by Rothana Walbolt. Rothana is an experienced retail executive and advocate for the migrant community in the Minneapolis, Saint Paul area.

The Ask
With the $50,000 we raise on ifundwomen we will put our dream and prototype into mass production. This amount of funding will allow us to get a mass production mold produced and complete our first large production run of the FreezeStax product. Our manufacturing will be done in the United States by a small company in MN. One of our core corporate values is to continue to support other small businesses, even as we grow and become a global phenomenon.
