Q. What happens if you don't meet your goal?
A. IFW offers flexible funding, which means I can keep what is raised, whether or not the goal is met. However, if I do not raise enough from this platform to make any progress on the business, funds will be returned to the donors. Please expect to be kept up-to-date on your donations and how they will be used.
Q. Does IFW keep my financial information safe?
A. IFW does not store credit card numbers. Its payment processors, PayPal and Stripe operate with the highest level of security and encryption technology.
When backing a project using PayPal, the recipient won't receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. This way, you don't have to worry about paying people you don't know. You can read more about PayPal’s safety guidelines here .
