In the heart of downtown Pine Bluff is where you will find your new favorite hangout, The Daiquiri Lounge. Located in a vintage building on Main Street, we are the ONLY daiquiri bar within a 50-mile radius of the city. We offer a premium selection of daiquiri's, beer, wine, and of course delicious food. Our bar also features a stage where we will host karaoke, open mic nights, and have live performances by local artists. With a $1.3 million retail gap in drinking places in the Pine Bluff area, there is a major opportunity to create and cultivate a fun and exciting drinking place for adults to come safely fellowship.
The mission of The Daiquiri Lounge is to contribute to the economic development of the community while creating a fun yet intimate environment that will satisfy the needs and expectations of our core customers. Over the years Pine Bluff has seen hard times. Many businesses that I once knew have since gone away and the community has struggled to rebuild. However, the local government and community leaders have recently come together to reestablish and revitalize the city by welcoming opportunities for new businesses to contribute to the economic growth and rebuilding of the community. The Daiquiri Lounge is committed to creating jobs, increasing tourism, increasing the quality of life of current residents, and motiving local community members to venture into entrepreneurship.
There is no place like the Daiquiri Lounge nearby and my vision is to revitalize this historic and vintage bar and turn it into something new and beautiful that no one has ever seen. I am confident that I can not only contribute to the economic advancement of the community, but also build a lasting establishment that is sure to attract adults near and far who are looking for a good time. Whether it’s date night, happy hour with the girls, or you just need to wind down for the day, I am sure the Daiquiri Lounge is soon to become Pine Bluff’s best new hangout.
I am seeking funding to:
- Complete the renovations of the building. The current location is a vintage bar downtown that requires some updates and upgrades to meet code but also meet the expectations of the customer.
- Provide fair and livable wages for employees. It is imperative that we can pay employees wages above minimum wage to retain employees, minimize economic hardships, and maintain exquisite customer service.
