Mission
Sippin’ Pretty’s mission is to create a joyful, community-rooted café experience that celebrates culture, connection, and creativity through handcrafted coffee, tea, and lemonade. We aim to make every sip a reminder that beauty, ownership, and opportunity belong in every neighborhood, especially ours in South Dallas.
The Problem We’re Solving
Too many Dallas neighborhoods lack locally owned, uplifting spaces that reflect the people who live there. Big chains dominate, while small Black-owned businesses often struggle to access funding or safe, beautiful storefronts. Our community deserves a place that feels like home. Fresh, inviting, and inspiring while also creating a community space right here at home.
The Market Opportunity
Dallas’ café and specialty drink market continues to grow, with U.S. consumers spending a lot of money on coffee and tea. But few businesses in this space authentically serve and represent South Dallas. That’s the gap Sippin’ Pretty fills by offering premium, all-natural beverages and a vibrant brand rooted in local identity, targeting a community of residents, commuters, students, and creatives looking for quality, culture, and connection.
About the Company & How We Solve the Problem
Sippin’ Pretty is a brick-and-mortar café designed to merge great taste with good energy. Our menu features handcrafted lemonades, signature lattes, and botanical teas which are all made with natural ingredients and creative flavor twists. Beyond the drinks, we’re building a space that doubles as a hub for local art, small events, and empowerment.
Why We’re Seeking Funding & How It Will Be Used
We’re raising funds to complete our café build-out in South Dallas, purchase equipment, finish our build out and launch our dream. Your contribution will help cover:
Build-out and finishing touches (plumbing, electrical, flooring, décor)

Our Team
Led by Gabrielle Miller, a Dallas native, mother, and experienced entrepreneur with roots in hospitality and real estate, Sippin’ Pretty combines passion and practicality. The team also includes a circle of creative collaborators, barista trainers, and community advisors helping shape a space that’s as functional as it is inspiring.

1. What is Sippin’ Pretty?
Sippin’ Pretty is a Black woman–owned coffee and beverage café coming to South Dallas. We specialize in handcrafted lemonades, teas, and coffee drinks made with natural ingredients.
2. Where will Sippin’ Pretty be located?
Our first brick-and-mortar café will be in South Dallas (75215), near the heart of the community we’re proud to represent. The space is currently in development, and your support will help us complete the final build-out and open our doors.
3. Why are you raising funds?
We’re raising funds to cover final construction costs, café equipment, and launch expenses. This includes flooring, plumbing, refrigeration, and hiring staff from the community. Your contribution helps us bring this dream — and this neighborhood investment — to life.
4. How will the funds be used?
Every dollar goes toward:
Build-out and equipment
Interior finishes and furniture
Licensing and inspections
Grand opening launch and marketing
Hiring and training staff

5. What makes Sippin’ Pretty different from other cafés?
We’re not just serving drinks, we’re serving vibes. Our café blends quality beverages with good energy, community, and creative inspiration. From our “Stay Groovy, Sip Pretty” theme to our local drink names, everything about our space is designed to uplift and reflect the people around us.
6. When will the café open?
Our target opening is within the next few months, pending build-out completion and inspections. We’ll keep backers updated on progress and opening-day celebrations and our VIP supporters will get early invites to our soft launch events.
7. What do supporters receive in return?
Depending on your contribution, you can receive anything from a personalized thank-you and free drinks to VIP event access, engraved recognition inside the café, or even a custom drink named after you. Check out our reward tiers for details!
8. Is my contribution tax-deductible?
No because Sippin’ Pretty is a for-profit business, so contributions are not tax-deductible. However, your support directly helps build a locally owned business that will reinvest in the community through jobs and partnerships.
9. Can I support even if I don’t live in Dallas?
Absolutely! Many of our supporters are out of state. You can still receive rewards (digital or mailed items), and we’ll feature all supporters on our Founding Wall and in our social media thank-you campaign.
10. How else can I support the project?
Share this campaign on your social media, tag friends, or reach out if you know vendors, local artists, or sponsors who’d like to collaborate. Every share, mention, or introduction helps us grow.
11. What happens if the campaign exceeds its goal?
Extra funds will go toward enhancing the space . We’ll keep everyone posted on how extra contributions are reinvested.
12. What happens if you don’t reach your goal?
We’re fully committed to opening Sippin’ Pretty regardless, but this campaign helps us open sooner and stronger. Any funds raised will still go directly to equipment, licensing, and build-out needs.
