CV1871 is a heritage rooted lifestyle brand inspired by Clarksville, one of Texas’s first Freedmen’s Towns, founded in 1871 when Charles Clark, a formerly enslaved man, built a thriving Black community west of downtown Austin. His vision of ownership, creativity, and progress is the spirit that drives us today.

We create apparel and media that honor Black excellence, celebrating the past, amplifying the present, and inspiring the future. Every piece we design tells a story of resilience, pride, and innovation.
