Coworking and Play Studios coming to Colorado Springs. To support you, we need you to support us.
Project Description
The Den is seeking your support to launch as a community-oriented coworking space with enriching play studios, built with the intent of empowering parents to show up as their authentic, creative, confident selves while they pursue their careers and build their village.
Our Mission:
To positively impact communities by empowering parents to pursue careers and build their village with a continuous focus on individual and familial wellness.
The Problem:
Parents, predominantly moms, should not have to choose between their careers and being a parent. The pandemic drove women out of the work force and exacerbated the isolation that often accompanies motherhood. The Den seeks to empower mothers (and fathers) to invest in their wellness and follow their career aspirations, while providing an enriching family environment and play studios.
The Solution:
So many of you express vehemently the need for a place like The Den! A workspace where you can bring your children. A community where you can learn, grow and build your village. A safe space for your children and for you! More than your home, more than your job, The Den Seeks to be your place for community, business growth, and child enrichment.

Play Studios at The Den are inspired by a Reggio Emilia approach.
No commute and flexible workspace. The Den takes 'bring your kids to work' to a whole new level!
Get in a few laser-focused hours (or some relaxed entertainment via your laptop and headphones) while your kids are safely entertained in the nearby- but separate- Play Studios. We'll only interrupt you for diaper changes!
Our facility build keeps family in mind. Closeness to your babies, enrichment for your toddlers, fun for your children, community in coworking for you. Take care of the parent and the child will thrive.

When will you open?
Projected opening April 2023!
Where will you be located?
North/Central Colorado Springs. We can't wait to share the exact location with you!
Is this business diverse-owned?
Yes, we're women, minority, and queer-owned!
How will funding from this campaign be used?
Funding from this campaign will go directly toward opening expenses, including renovations, supplying both the coworking space and Play Studios with necessary materials (learning materials, office supplies) and furniture, a refrigerator/freezer for Community use, especially nursing mothers, and sufficient funds for 1- 2 months of operating expenses (employee pay, rent, and utilities.)
What ages will The Den serve?
The Play Studios are available to littles, ages 2.5-6. Newborns - 2 years are welcome at The Den as well but must be near their parent via a carrier, a designated playpen, or in the family friendly coworking space. Kids 7 and up are welcome to play in the Recreation Room.
What are The Den's anticipated hours?
We currently plan to be open from 8:00am -3:00pm every weekday, with additional hours available for office renters, yoga, community classes & workshops, and massage therapy. The Play Studios will be open from 9-3.
