BIBI Bakery: Iranian Inspired | Brooklyn Based

BIBI Bakery reimagines Iranian flavors to create unique and *sometimes* addictive pastries. Growing up quality, fresh Iranian desserts were almost impossible to find, but the resilient Iranian women in my life made sure to raise me in the kitchen with an understanding of Persian flavors and culture.  BiBi Bakery was born out of love for these women, and they are the influence and inspiration of everything we create. I incorporate my American experience and Iranian culture into my baking, so every bite transports you to new yet familiar places–bringing my home to yours. 

BIBI’s menu was created for people who love food, adventure, and quality products. Our core products include baklava, cookies, breads, cakes, and ice creams. We are developing a brand around quality pastry, beautiful food, and mixing traditions. The baklava, our top selling product, is crispy, always baked fresh, and offers a modern spin on my BIBI’s (grandma’s) baklava. 

Food and the hospitality surrounding it are prominent traditions in Iran; however, access to and awareness of Persian baking culture is limited and arguably non-existent to the general public. At BIBI we are committed to sharing and celebrating Iranian culture through food and challenging single-story narratives of the Middle East one bite at a time. We are excited to continue innovating our flavor combinations, educating our consumers on the food culture of Iran, sharing our story, and building connections with our community.
