THE PROBLEM
The issues plaguing our communities are on the rise - and the nonprofits, foundations, and institutions meant to aid them are not working together effectively to solve them.
Did you know?
- In 2020, over 8 million Americans have fallen into poverty!
- In 2019, $75.69 Billion was invested in our communities' social well-being, but cycles of disparities still persist!

The solution - empact, is a platform where:

Institutions will be able to reach community-wide goals, establish plans, and agreed-upon outcomes for the sake of our communities.

Foundations will be able to see how their donations and investments impact the larger issues their priorities are designed to meet.

Nonprofits will gain insights into the metrics that are most important to achieving their goals and outcomes, where funding is focused, which funders and community-wide goals they align with, and the impact their mission and programming is having on the community as a whole.
You benefit from an accountable platform where stakeholders are aligned, understanding your needs, and working together to impact you and your community!
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to launch our beta version of empact.
With your help, we can reach our goal and achieve:
- A functioning Beta Version launched in June 2021
- A Beta test group onboarded and utilizing our platform
- An online community where you can share your insights and input into the needs of your community
- The addition of 1 technical/design member to our team

OUR TEAM
Our team is led by our CEO and President, Monique Curry-Mims, MBA, MSEd. Monique has over 15 years of business and leadership experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors.

Empact Data Solutions' technical team has over 20 years of social impact tech experience. Additionally, we have 5 Advisors that work in tech and/or social impact spaces.

- What communities does empact serve?
- Our initial Beta group will launch in Philadelphia, PA, however, our rollout will happen nationally.
- What does empact do?

Currently, there are impact and metric tracking solutions, that offer dated data and minimal sharing between certain users. There is no comprehensive solution shepherding and sharing information across an ecosystem, collectively together. Via empact, stakeholders; institutions, foundations, and nonprofits, can collectively work together in real-time on our platform to not only meet their own priorities but reduce gaps and address the siloed inefficiencies that lead to a lack of progress facing community issues that they are working to improve. empact is a B2B SaaS Social Impact Platform.

- When will empact launch?
- Our initial Beta group will begin in June 2021. Our goal is to have the platform open for enrollment by Q4 2021
- How will our funds be used?

As of today, we have completed PHASE 1 with the development of a prototype that we have been demoing and beta testing with potential users and investors. With a goal to get our initial platform up by June, we have soft commitments from several community leaders, nonprofits, institutions, and foundations, who are ready to join empact's platform and support our growth. With your support, we can build out our initial beta platform build, expand our team, and possibly include additional features and benefits.

- This panel is made up of community members from all walks of life discussing the challenges, possible solutions, and the impact truly being made in their communities. Members are part of an online community and have the opportunity to meet virtually.
