A million thanks!

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since the last update as I have been very busy getting all the pieces lined up to bring the sauna home in LESS THAN A WEEK. I'm very excited... almost a little in disbelief.

Simply put, you have all helped me reach my goal of $8000. In fact, I raised $8500 between this platform and direct donations.

So many things have happened since January when, trying to rent the previous mobile sauna biz in Duluth, The Hiki Hut, and they replied that they had retired it to their backyard... and I impulsively asked, "do you want to sell it?"

And here I am.

I secured a small business fund from The Entrepreneur Fund, an SBA organization, as well as a $3,000 Grant that I can use for business development. I will be using that to hire a bookkeeper to show me the ropes on Quickbooks.

There have been lots of emails learning about the VERY riveting world of insurance, hitch setups, and dear lord... getting a custom "buff" made. That last piece has been harder than all of the tasks combined and they should be here in a month, I hope. I might be delayed on those of you that donated at the level that gets you buff. But they'll be here in time for cold temps.

Once I have the sauna I will take the rest of the month for test runs, getting the unit gussied up with decals and a gathering at Pike Lake north of Duluth where my supporters are welcome to try out the new rig. I already have a request for a housewarming party for some co-workers that just bought a home and I will be set up at Duluth Running Co's "Bridge the Gap" 10-miler- a women's race that will raise funds to help bridge the gap of professional opportunities for women in the Northland.

THINGS ARE HAPPENING! The fire has been lit. You are all the fuel. Every time I light the Kuuma wood stove, I will think of all of you!

If social media is still part of your daily consumption, please give @SaunaDuNord a follow on Facebook or Instagram to follow along with my progress.

With gratitude,

MK
