ELEVATOR PITCH

Murals, Gifs, and Videos are growing in popularity over social media and has 10.8 million posts with the #mural hashtag. Murals tell stories and bring communities together. What if they could give more? Mural City app presents 500 plus exclusive murals/backgrounds to content creators in five seconds on the fly and partner with brands to give back to inner city youth and kids.

 

THE SOLUTION

Changing art backgrounds out on the fly, while providing enjoyable, relatable and animated murals that give back through partnerships didn’t exist. Mural City app helped solved this limitation by providing fun and animated murals to anyone in five secs with a purpose.

How it started? Mural City app was launched in 2021 by Clarissa Fletcher, reflecting on her late grandmother’s bedroom window where almost 1000 pictures where self-timed there, “The Green Wall. Clarissa designed almost 300 murals, 100 stickers and overlays to provide creators with fun experiences on the fly. With her background with working with non-profits, she decided to add a purpose and launch the iFundWomen Campaign to accommodate a purpose as well as joyful experiences.

 

AESTHETIC MURALS THAT GIVE IS WHAT WE'RE CROWDFUNDING FOR:

Many inner city youth and kids have never experience an airplane ride or top views of the world or even the other side of their city. Why? Many families, simply don't have the budget or time to treat their kids to travel accommodations across the world because many parent's are working hard full-time.

Mural City app was launched on Valentines Day, with 200 murals and stickers for users to enjoy. However, the need to do more with the app touched our hearts to research ways to increased app usage and make a difference in the world. The campaign is the result of many hours of research over the past 3 months.

We believe that free travel experiences to cities or local places will give children a first-hand experience to amazing things around the world. Some adventures will include tours of real iconic murals, historical walking tours, college tours and more.

We plan to focus on five inner cites to start. Those cities are: Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City and Atlanta.

 

ABOUT CLARISSA

Clarissa is from Houston, Texas. She grew up in an inner city neighborhood, but in a loving household with her grandparents, mom and twin sister. In school, she experienced outreach trips and in High School, she traveled to Paris, France to experience the French culture first hand during Spring Break. Her love for art and travel, influenced her decision to major in art in college and study digital media in graduate school. 

In 2016, she started working with non-profits. She has worked in the Houston, Nashville, Los Angeles, Austin, Detroit, and New York City markets. Today, she continues to work with non-profits, schools and in the entertainment industry.

 

 

 

 

 

APP IMPACT

Each Brand Mural Pack and mural pack collaborates with an inner city outreach program for travel. The partnership earnings will be added to a city outreach program by giving a percentage to each city. Users are encourage to share their images from the app online by using our hashtag/mention. Also, a  percentage of sales from the website store will go towards more inner city programs for children and families.
