Project Description
- There is a Nationwide trend of replacing detention with Yoga & Meditation in schools. It’s time for our community to do the same. After the recent rise in violence in our schools we have partnered with several organizations to introduce Yoga & Meditation to all age groups and the results speak for themselves.
Every year our organization looks for ways to give back to the community we serve. In 2018 & 2019 we adopted the 3rd grade class at Pleasant City Elementary in WPB and along with our clients supplied over 60 students with not just Back to School Backpacks but backpacks filled with everything on their supply list. We wanted Pleasant City Elementary’s 3rd grade class to start the year off with no stress & equipped to take on the year!!!

In 2020 we want to do more! We have decided to partner with 8 of our local schools to be certified as Mindfulness Schools through OM Yoga & Wellness Studios Mindfulness Certification Program. In addition to the certification each school will receive a hands on implementation RYT200 Yoga Teacher as a coach for the entire school year.
OM Yoga & Wellness‘ Mindfulness Training Program for Teachers & Administrators is a 3-day Program focused on:

The cost of the course $1500 per school including all books.
All schools will be certified as an OM Yoga & Wellness Studios Mindful Schools of Palm Beach County.
This program is under the umbrella of OM Yoga & Wellness Studios LLC a Registered Teaching Studio & YACEP Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider.
All of our Teachers are E-RYT Expert Registered Yoga Teachers & RYT500 Registered Yoga Teachers with 500 Hours.

Frequently Asked Questions:
- How are the schools selected? We are looking for 2 Elementary, 3 Middle and 3 High Schools in West Palm Beach that are under served in the community.
- What is the cost to the schools? There is no cost to the schools with your donations. All funds raised will be used for materials & implementation tools for the school.
- Will Mats be provided? As part of the schools participating package each school will be given 20 mats for the students to use.

Our Shred10 Challenge is a KICKSTART to a journey of long term health and wellness. This program is the perfect way to improve sleep, increase energy and increase mental clarity. With our community accountability group we can hold each other to task, keep each other motivated, share challenges, recipes and, results. Lets face it you can do just about anything for 10 Days, why not improve your overall health?
