Holistically helping Women feel better!!

The mission of Haworth Health and Wellness, LLC is to help heal women by empowering and partnering with them to ensure their rights are protected when receiving health care services. Shared decision making is used to allow women to make informed decisions regarding their health care that is supported by the provider. 

The problem that Health Health and Wellness, LLC solves is providing affordable and trusting health care to women. Many people especially women do not trust health care providers. This is because often times women are not listened when they bring a health care concern to a provider or the provider simply does not take the time to truly understand what the woman is trying to explain.  This results in misunderstands, lack of trust, unnecessary testing, incorrect diagnoses, etc. The biggest problem is lack of health care providers for women and mental health.

There is a large opportunity to serve women with mental health. The opportunity will expand as the stigma surrounding mental health decreases. It will also expand as the demands and the illness of this world continues to force isolation upon people. Mental illness has been around for centuries and is here to stay.

Haworth Health and Wellness, LLC is  a health care practice that is owned and operated by an Advance Practice Registered Nurse, Certified Nurse-Midwife. This allows for the cost of health care visits to be more cost effective. We operate on the principle of only running necessary testing that will provide useful answers. In order to do this, we spend time with out clients and listen to what is actually going on with both the body and the mind. Since, Amanda specializes in women's health needs she also looks at how other body systems might be effecting a client's mental health. She also is well versed in supplements and natural remedies if a patient does not want traditional medication.

I am seeking funding to help with the start up cost of starting a new health care practice. The funds will go to cover the cost of the office space, desk, locking file cabinet or a locking cabinet, storage bins, wall decor, disposable gloves, trash can, hand sanitizer, blood pressure cuffs in multiple sizes, thermometer, oxygen saturation monitor, scale, sanitizing supplies, fax service, office supplies, business cards, business flyers/brochures, marketing items
