EmpowHER Wings

The mission is to awaken women's nightmares of domestic violence and inspire them to soar to their dreams. By addressing trauma and abuse, EmpowHer Wings provides services and resources to sustain women's health mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. According to the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over 1 in 3 women (35.6%)  in the US have experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. With funding, we will meet our goal of assisting a minimum of 100 women per month with resources of safe shelter and housing, job training, therapy, discovery flights, and career paths and training programs in aviation (pilot, air traffic controller, aircraft mechanic). As we're in the development stages, our team is currently interviewing team members who are passionate about the mission of serving women and helping them overcome domestic violence.
