Three years ago...

In 2020, we opened eleMINT in vibrant East Austin, Texas amidst a global pandemic, civil unrest, and social uprising - with YOUR support! Our initial crowdfunding campaign carried us through start up costs, site renovations, inventory & equipment, hiring, and marketing. An exciting inception, that has grown through resilience and hope, because of YOU! 

Lately, we're ebbing and flowing through ongoing pandemic effects, economic shifts, operational challenges and overall fragility of being a Black woman owned business in East Ausin.  And while many things remain uncertain as we push to sustain our studio, we're honored to still be here as a sanctuary for self-care and community despite it all. While eleMINT is no easy feat alone, we know that your support will help us continue transforming lives through skincare. 

eleMINT is a physical wellness space and social community for skincare. Our mission is to elevate skin health and wellbeing through a holistic, transformative skincare experience that is inclusive, accessible and affordable. 

Beauty has shifted to encompass a unique focus on wellness. And it’s about time! Historically, the primary destination for quality skincare has been luxurious spas. The problem is, spas are outdated, pretentious, expensive, impersonal and lack diversity. 

We know that:

• The modern consumer craves a more personalized skincare experience, focused on preventive techniques, wellbeing and education.
• A holistic approach with a sensible price point that redefines skincare as a lifestyle, rather than a luxury.
• Safe, nontoxic beauty options that nourish skin without compromising health.

The road to building eleMINT has not been an easy feat, but realizing our purpose with each client we service, makes it worth every step!

WE STILL NEED YOU

We will use the funds backed by this campaign to secure our new location (CHECK!), renovate the space (CHECK!) hire staff (PARTIAL CHECK!), improve our branding/marketing (STILL NEEDED), expand our retail product options (STILL NEEDED), and continuously replenish cleaning and sanitation supplies (ONGOING NEED). 

OUR FOUNDER

eleMINT was founded by Shauntavia Ward, a Nurse Practitioner, who after 8 years in medicine, craved a deeper connection with inspiring women to feel good about themselves, in their most natural state. #inyourelemint
