The Anomaly

Co-creation of a new way of living that is inclusive of people encountering vulnerable situations globally. This is a community where everyone brings a piece of the puzzle. We are a community of people with varying backgrounds, on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, education, status, etc. We come together to co-create systems that will allow everyone to have a decent life.

Why?

Most of us are feeling that our current systems are failing us, some will go so far to say that these systems are doing exactly what they were designed to do; Uplift a minority at the expense of the majority. My vision started as an academy that would offer an alternative to the current education system, specifically education in art & storytelling. However, I was having difficulties formulating what it is I want to do. Until it dawned on me, I'm unable to give an exact answer. Simply because, I don't have all the answers! With that in mind, it became ironically clear and simple to me. What I want is a space for co-creation. Co-creation, not only in the artistic sense. But in all (collective) aspects of our lives here on earth. 
 

How?

Facilitating systemic change through collaboration and knowledge sharing. The Anomaly will have its own knowledge hub, (network) events, workshops, peer-to-peer mentorships, and more as we co-create the space. The Anomaly will work with the concept of "power to". Using therefore Holarchical governing systems instead of a classical hierarchical system where authority and decision-making are concentrated at the top. This community will (eventually) become self-sufficient as some of the collaborations will generate funds that will flow back into the community.  
 

Who is the person behind this dream?

Let me introduce myself. I am Radinka Ustasia. My study background is in International Development Management, with a minor in creativity and art. I am known artistically as Maanarak of Grey. As an artist my vision is to spread art and stories with the intention of transforming lives and encouraging authenticity. I aim to achieve this by creating spaces, books, films, podcasts, works of art (projects) that inspire deep thought, and self-reflection about our human experience. The projects are raw and show the power of vulnerability.

The Anomaly is an extension of my artistic mission and vision, into the realm of International Development. With the Anomaly, I combine my passion for creativity with that of facilitating change for marginalized groups of people. I am setting up a global community that will be active online and offline. Creating a network of people that are empowered to co-create a more sustainable way of living together.
 

What do I need funding for?

I require funding to invest in the NFT crowdfunding campaign. The first two campaigns will be with my own artwork, as the community grows and we collaborate on other projects we will use them as a way to fund the communal initiatives. See budget specification bellow.

Market viability

An Anomaly is something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected. For this reason, I am not thinking about the market in the way we are used to in our current systems. It will make it difficult to create new systems, if the community is forced to think and function in the same way our current systems work. Viability, in this case is thought of as how to become self-sufficient. This will be through artistic projects such as selling NFT arts, producing film, books, etc.
