ACO Takes on Wayfair.com

I founded Authenticality Co. (ACO) in 2012 to introduce luxury, nontoxic self care products to the market. After pursuing a more health-conscious lifestyle and becoming more ingredients conscious, I became aware of the vast amount of toxins present in personal care products. This led to developing my own formulas, which led to producing an entire product collection of self care + home products.

The mission of ACO reaches beyond providing clean products. The aim is to create a positive self image, inspire self care + add more style, confidence and calm to your every day routine. The collection has expanded to include moisturizers, bath products, beard products and candles.

The ACO Home Collection features eco-luxe candles crafted with nontoxic ingredients. The Home Collection was recently accepted onto Wayfair.com. As I set to launch on this major platform, I'm excited to introduce our formulas to homes across the globe. 

In collaboration with a phenomenal designer, I have developed a new candle collection to be sold exclusively on Wayfair.com. We have done an extensive amount of market research and have identified a sector of the home decor + candle market that is extremely popular, yet underserved. This new candle collection caters to that sector, while having enough wow factor to appeal to both home decor lovers and candle lovers outside of the target audience. With Wayfair having 2 Million+ visitors per month, launching on this major platform presents a great expansion opportunity for ACO.

We have finalized the collection of 6 candles, have a launch strategy to release the collection to our current audience + a promotion strategy for pre- + post- Wayfair launch. We are ready to produce and sell, this is where I could use your support.

Launching with a major retailer presents the need to have a large amount of inventory produced + ready to ship. With net 60 terms as a standard, this means I'll need to fund this large inventory + production round. Your support will help me to produce the first round of candles for the Wayfair launch.

The funds will be used exclusively for production + inventory. As each candle is produced in my studio, I'll need to purchase a 2nd industrial grade wax melter to have the ability to produce more candles in a shorter time. Secondly, I'll need to purchase the vessels, wax, wicks + fragrance to produce the first round of candles for the launch.
