Who Loves Food

2023 was an incredibly tough year! My husband passed away in May from heart failure, I can’t believe it’s been a year. My son passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident In July. I was completely devistated. I shut down and had major depression and anxiety. I then lost my job in November to end the year! 2024 brought new ideas and a new me. Having never been on my own as an adult, I had to figure out who I was and what I love! I decided to start a local meal prep business. This is something northern Colorado doesn’t have, and something I thought would help the community. It’s so hard for me personally to stay on track with eating properly and healthy, and I wondered if it was hard for others as well. I took my idea to some friends I workout with and they loved it! I started up that week with 5 clients and 24 meals. I am now starting my 4th month and have over 30 clients and make over 120 meals a week! I am so thankful and so proud of how far I have come so fast! I have the opportunity to prepare meals for rehab patients in need of proper nutrition and balanced meals. This will start as 135 meals a week and grow from there! I am looking for funding to grow and make this possible. I’m going to need commercial kitchen space, more equipment and help!! I would love anyone who is inspired by my journey to help me continue to grown my dream.
